ABOUT

 

My name is Daniel White. I’m a filmmaker and a lover of all things movies. I am currently a Set Lighting Technician / Grip as a part of the IATSE Local 481 based out of Massachusetts. I have experience not only with set lighting but also with videography, cinematography, and video editing. In my youth I was always interested in the power of movies, and began at a very early age video editing and working with visual effects in programs such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects. I attended school at MassArt studying Film/Video, and then upon graduation began my career as an editor. From there I slowly transitioned into more on set work, working as a production assistant first then up through the camera department, eventually transitioning more into the world of lighting. For the past few years lighting is where I've called home, though my passion has never dulled for all of my pursuits within the film industry.
